One Glove

5am one early morning this patient got an angry phone call from his mom after being out partying all night. He was trying to get home quickly and he got lost. He was looking down at his phone and he slid right into a snow bank on a secluded dead-end street.

In a panic, he started trying to dig his tires out with only one glove. He said that the cold and adrenaline made it so that he couldn’t feel a thing.

Finally, someone drove by and called a tow truck. When they got his car out, he got in and realized there was blood everywhere.

He was diagnosed with 1st and 2nd degree frost bite with lacerations. He made a full recovery and only has a minor loss of sensation and discoloration of the hand.
