The Dura Mater

Welcome! Mortui Vivos Docent, “The Dead Teach The Living”. The Dura Mater is the central place for all things @mrs_angemi! The name “dura mater” comes from one of my favorite terms I learned in gross anatomy. The dura mater is a thick, fibrous blanket of tissue in the skull that protects the brain. Dura mater is latin for tough mother. The dura mater protects the brain and moms protect their babies. It is the perfect anatomical term to describe me!
