- Please keep in mind prior to signing up that The Gross Room is significantly more bloody and gruesome than my IG account. I cover all areas of death and disease due to natural causes, suicides, homicides, and accidents. Some of these include babies, children, and incidents involving animals. There are no trigger or sensitive content warnings. All posts are titled. When you enter the post, I give an explanation of what is going on in each photo or video. If you read something you feel might be upsetting, you have the choice not to continue with the post.
- The Gross Room is a community for shared interest in pathology, medicine, etc. Behavior, comments, and conversations in TGR are to remain positive, educational, and amicable between users. If your behavior is attacking, spam, or deemed to be inappropriate/threatening, you will be banned from the site. Your subscription will be canceled with no refund.
- All memberships are subscriptions. We have never and will not offer any other kind of membership.
- All subscription payments are set on automatic renewal until canceled.
- All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of your specific billing cycle (monthly or yearly).
- If you purchase your subscription during a promotion/sale, that sale price is only valid for ONE YEAR. Every year after you will be billed full price (Sign-ups prior to 11/22/22 will renew at $48USD/year & sign-ups after 11/22/22 will renew at $55USD). We do not and never have offered lifetime discounted memberships.
- Promotion/sale prices are only valid for NEW one-year memberships. If you have an existing yearly membership, the sale price will not be available.
- It is your responsibility to cancel your account. Sending an email, DM, and/or comment does not cancel your account.
- You must cancel your account at least 10 days prior to your scheduled renewal to make sure payment does not go through.
- As we are a US-based business, prices on www.theduramater.com, The Gross Room, and The Dura Mater Shop reflect the United States Dollar ($). We do not have control over currency exchange rates and cannot honor the price difference.
- If you engage in inappropriate behavior (disrespectful to the cases, harassing, bullying, heckling, or anything we deem inappropriate) your account will be terminated with no refund.
- If you share your login information with anyone and they lock you out of your account or take over, we cannot offer a refund.
- There are NO REFUNDS under any circumstance.
Please follow these steps to cancel your account:
- Log in to your account
- Double-click on the ACCOUNT link or visit here: https://theduramater.com/account/
- Go to the subscriptions tab
- Click CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION
- You may cancel your account at any time but must do so at least 10 days prior to your renewal date or your payment may still go through.
- When you cancel, you are able to view the Gross Room until the end of your subscription period.
- You are responsible for canceling your own account before the next billing cycle. No refunds will be issued.
- If you subscribe during a sale, you will be billed at the end of your billing cycle for the full price cost of the annual subscription at $48USD/year until you cancel your account.
- An expired or canceled credit card that still gets processed through the decision of your bank does not qualify as a cancelation. Please contact your bank if this is applicable to you.
- Sending a DM or Email DOES NOT cancel your account. You are responsible for confirming your cancelation with a team member if you are having difficulty canceling on your own.
- You MUST cancel and confirm your cancelation through www.theduramater.com or PayPal. Canceling through Google, your bank, etc does not guarantee that your account is canceled.

When you sign up for a membership to The Gross Room, you are agreeing to the terms of the subscription service. A membership to The Gross Room is an Auto-Renew Subscription. MONTHLY: If you signed up for a monthly subscription to The Gross Room on February 14th, you will be charged on the 14th of every month the price you agreed to when you signed up (not any current promotion price). You can cancel at any time but must cancel 10 days prior to your renewal date or you may still get charged. You will have access to The Gross Room until the following billing period.
YEARLY: If you are a yearly member and you signed up for example on February 14, 2021, you will automatically be charged on February 14, 2022. If you signed up during a Gross Room sale or promotion, the sale price is only valid for the first year. If you subscribed during a sale, you will be billed at the end of your billing cycle for the full price cost of the annual subscription until you cancel your account (Sign-ups prior to 11/22/22 will renew at $48USD/year & sign-ups after 11/22/22 will renew at $55USD). You must cancel your account at least 10 days before the renewal to guarantee the automatic payment does not get processed. You are responsible for canceling your own account before the next billing cycle. No refunds will be issued.
You are responsible for your own subscription. Sending an email, a direct message, or leaving a comment on Social Media does not cancel your subscription. You will be billed until you log into your account and cancel your subscription.
- If you signed up for The Gross Room and promotion or sale is offered shortly thereafter you will not be refunded.
- If The Gross Room is not what you expected, you can cancel your membership at any time but you will not be refunded.
- If you simply do not log in to your account and/or do not reach out for assistance with access issues prior to your renewal, you will not be refunded.
- If your account is still charged even though it’s connected to an expired or canceled card, please contact your bank directly. That is completely out of our control and does not qualify as a cancellation. You will still need to log into your account and cancel even if your card is canceled or expired.
- If you believe you have a duplicate charge, please click here. Please note: if we find that you have been charged twice, but the charges are under separate accounts, you will not be refunded.
- If someone joined The Gross Room and created an account with your credit card or Paypal information (such as a child) without your knowledge, you will not be refunded. Please consult your banking institution.
- Your personal data will be used to process your order and support your experience throughout this website. We will not rent or sell your information to outside companies.
- We take the security of your personal information very seriously. Any section of this website that collects personal or financial information is encrypted to protect it and is only accessed by our employees in order to process payments and manage your account.
- Most of our domestic orders are shipped via United States Postal Service. Due to new service standards issued by USPS beginning 10/1/21, there may be delays in shipping. Please allow extra time to receive your package during this time. Click here to read more.
- PLEASE NOTE: Some items ship separately as they are coming from different suppliers.
- As we are a very small business, we can only accept returns for damaged items. This includes manufacturing errors such as damaged printing.
- If your item arrives damaged, please send us an email within 7 days of the date you received your package.
- Include photos and a detailed description of the damage to your product.
- NOTE: Returns will not be accepted for incorrect size/color choice or wrong address. Once your order has ben sent to our printer, this information cannot be changed. Please make sure this information is as accurate as possible during checkout.
- We cannot cancel your order or refund you after checkout.
- Damaged packages are the responsibility of the USPS and a claim can be filed here. Lost or stolen packages are NOT the responsibility of the Dura Mater.
- All products are printed on demand.
- The average turnaround time is 8-14 business days.
- Please provide an accurate address in addition to size/color choices. Once your order has been submitted,, it cannot be changed/canceled.
- Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email with a tracking number. Orders with various products may be shipped separately.
